Sixth Form application Details

Thank you for considering the best high school in Jamaica as the option for your sixth form journey. As is always the case, we expect hard and smart work from all our students, and we believe this will be the case for you. Therefore, let me welcome you as you make the first step to see this journey through - THE APPLICATION PROCESS.

We recommend that you spend some time thinking about our offerings before you make that first step. Our subject offerings are structured to allow for studies in the sciences, arts, humanities and business. However, if you are unsure, we still have allowances for you to continue a wide range of subjects to which you can apply yourself. Here is our structure.

  • Caribbean Studies and Communication Studies are COMPULSORY.
  • Alternate 1: Accounting  /  History  /  Chemistry   /  Information Technology
  • Alternate 2:  Tourism  /  Pure Mathematics  /  Law  /  Food and Nutrition
  • Alternate 3: Entrepreneurship  /  Biology  /  Building and Mechanical Engineering Drawing  /  Sociology
  • Alternate 4: Management of Business  /  Spanish  /  Geography  /  Computer Science
  • Alternate 5: Economics  /  Physics  /  Physical Education  /  Literatures in English

Being the best high school in the country comes with its responsibilities; a set of responsibilities which we pass on to our students. Many of our students are not simply academic stalwarts, but many of them are affiliated with a number of clubs or societies and many of them are athletes. It is our belief that these contributions make a mark upon your life and upon those who you will serve while participating therein. Therefore, as part of you application, you should ensure to note all the clubs and societies you were involved in while in fourth (4th) and fifth (5th) form. Your participation in these activities could be the deciding factor between you and a student of similar scholastic aptitude.

Make the necessary payment at Sagicor Bank. Here are the account details:

OR

Pay at the Bursar's Office in our Administrative Office

STEP #2: Fill out the application form

Click on the links below to go to application form you desire to fill out. Note, you will need:

  1. A copy (picture or file) of receipt from the payment transaction. A screenshot, photograph or pdf of will suffice.
  2. A digitize photograph or picture of applicant
  3. Non-Glenmuir past students should furnish us with a copy of the their transcript and a recommendation from their former school.
